The deployment

Challenge. Solution. Outcome.

Challenge

A luxury manufacturer expanding renewable infrastructure at scale.

Bentley’s Crewe headquarters already had a 10,000-panel solar array. As staff EV ownership grew, the site needed more charge points — integrated with existing renewable generation and aligned with the Beyond100 sustainability strategy

Solution

Two HALO FastHub units integrating with 10,000 panels of existing solar.

Two HALO FastHub units were installed at Crewe HQ, delivering 24 staff charge points. HALO OS integrates with the existing solar array, drawing from on-site generation wherever possible. Free charging for all staff and visitors from day one.

Outcome

737 charges a month. And utilisation still growing.

Since installation, utilisation has increased by 65.4%. The site now averages 737 charge sessions per month. Free, solar-supplemented charging for staff and visitors — a tangible, measurable step in Bentley’s Beyond100 programme.

The exciting addition of further solar panels supports Bentley’s ongoing commitment to its Beyond100 strategy — a vision to transform a 103-year-old luxury car company into a new, sustainable role model for the entire automotive industry
