Decarbonise without disruption.

Network Rail needed reliable charging for fleet vehicles and visiting staff, but the solution had to work around the demands of an active campus and provide a model that could potentially be replicated across its wider estate.

Solution

Up and charging in under 24 hours.

A 12-charge-point HALO FastHub was delivered and installed at the Basingstoke Campus in under 24 hours, providing smart EV charging and integrated low-carbon energy without the disruption associated with a traditional infrastructure project.

Outcome

A blueprint for what comes next.

The installation became the first HALO FastHub across the Network Rail estate, providing on-site charging for fleet vehicles and visiting staff while demonstrating a scalable approach that could support wider fleet electrification.
