NEW Lliswerry High School – Solar EV charging for a school and its community
Lliswerry High School needed reliable, low-carbon EV charging across a large destination site ahead of a packed summer calendar. Two HALO FastHub units delivered it, supporting the Shift to Zero sustainability initiative.
Challenge. Solution. Outcome.
Challenge
A world-famous venue that needed to lead by example
Silverstone hosts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. As EV adoption grows, demand for on-site charging was rising fast. The site needed reliable, low-carbon infrastructure in place before the summer racing season — and it needed to reflect Silverstone’s sustainability ambitions.

Solution
Two HALO FastHub units at Pit Stop Café and Silverstone Wing.
Two HALO FastHub units were installed at two locations across the Silverstone estate — at the Pit Stop Café and at Silverstone Wing. 24 charge points, solar-supplemented, working within existing site capacity. Both installed and live before the season began

Outcome
Reliable charging throughout the season. A visible sustainability statement.
Visitors and staff charge throughout the racing calendar. Solar-supplemented energy reduces the carbon footprint of every session. Silverstone now has working green infrastructure that matches the ambition of the Shift to Zero initiative.

As the home of British Motor Sports, we want to be ahead of the curve and be seen as a front leader in the race to net zero. This is why we are using 3ti to accompany us and accelerate change.
