The Project Story

Challenge

More charging. Less disruption.

High EV demand meant additional charging was needed quickly, without creating significant disruption across an operational hospital site.

Solution

wo hubs. One smart installation.

Two HALO FastHub units were installed with cabling daisy-chained between them, halving the civils cost. 24 charge points and 40 kWp of solar generation, working within the hospital’s existing grid capacity. Live in three days. Site uninterrupted throughout.

Outcome

Charging in three days.

Patients and visitors gained convenient on-site charging while solar generation helps reduce reliance on grid electricity

We’re cutting our carbon footprint in practical ways and the new twin charging hub will make it even easier for visitors with electric vehicles to recharge while they’re here
